Crypton Future Media has announced the grand opening date for a brand-new retail store dedicated to the world-famous virtual singer Hatsune Miku.

The “Hatsune Miku Store in Harajuku” will serve as an official hub for fans to purchase exclusive merchandise and experience unique displays.

Hatsune Miku originally debuted as a voice synthesizer software mascot before transforming into a massive global pop culture phenomenon.

The digital idol has performed massive live concerts across the globe, including the United States and Europe, utilizing advanced holographic projection technology to entertain thousands of dedicated fans.

This new dedicated shop aims to project the creative culture surrounding the character directly from one of Tokyo’s most famous fashion districts.

Harajuku is a highly popular neighborhood known for being a major intersection of modern music, cutting-edge apparel, and contemporary art.

Visitors can expect an entertaining interior filled with stylish logos and artwork featuring the famous singer alongside her fellow Piapro characters.

The arrival of this new location wonderfully coincides with another major retail opening for virtual entertainment fans within the exact same shopping complex.

Virtual talent agency Cover Corp recently revealed plans to launch the “hololive Production official shop in Harajuku,” which will conveniently open on the same day as the new “Hatsune Miku Store in Harajuku”.

Cover Corp manages several prominent streaming groups under the hololive Production brand that reach a combined audience of over 90 million subscribers across the globe.

Operating in cooperation with Kiddy Land, the interactive hololive Production official shop will also provide fans with the chance to pick up exclusive goods.
