EverQuest Legends Heading to PC

Publisher Daybreak Game Company and developer Game Jawn have announced EverQuest Legends, a fan-driven collaboration designed to offer players a new way to experience the classic MMO.

The title is scheduled to launch for PC in July 2026.

Interested players can currently sign up for a closed beta test set to take place in April 2026 via the official website.

EverQuest Legends takes adventurers back to the early days of Norrath with restored sound and visuals alongside modern quality-of-life enhancements.

Executive producer David Youssefi described the project as a passion project intended to fulfill a long-time dream of creating a solo and casual version of the legendary RPG.

The game has been built from the ground up to support solo play, though groups of up to four and raids of up to eight players are still supported.

Players can create powerful characters by selecting up to three different classes simultaneously, such as a rogue, paladin, and wizard combination.

The experience features 15 available races and 560 possible class combinations to allow for deep character customization.

At launch, the game will include the continent of Antonica and all original playable races, including Iksar, Frogloks, and Kerran.

Modernized features include a streamlined user interface, upgraded spell management, and the ability to upgrade gear up to a +10 rating.

Game Jawn founder Eda Spause expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting the team’s long history as active members of the EverQuest community.

The release aims to honor the legacy of the original 1999 title while making the world of Norrath more approachable for new and returning players alike.
