New Frieren: Beyond Journey's End staff replica lights up and plays over 30 voice lines

A new, electronic role-playing replica of the staff used by the main character Frieren from the hit anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has been announced by Bandai.

The announcement comes as anticipation builds for the second season of the anime, which is scheduled to begin in January 2026.

The new season will pick up with the “First Class Mage Exam Arc” from the original manga, which has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.

This new “Frieren’s Staff” replica is a large, impressively sized item, measuring approximately 60cm in length.

It is recreated with a deluxe finish, featuring clear parts for the gem and detailed coloring.

The staff is equipped with a pendulum sensor for its “Magic Mode.”

When the user swings the staff, the red gem at the top lights up and plays sound effects and magic-casting lines from Frieren.

A separate “Voice Mode” is also included, which contains over 30 iconic voice lines from the character.

The replica is also loaded with the famous background music track, “Zoltraak,” allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the world of the series.

The “Frieren’s Staff” role-playing replica is priced at ¥8,800 (approx. $60 USD / £48 GBP).

Pre-orders are currently open via the Premium Bandai online store, and are scheduled to run until 11:00 PM on Wednesday, the 26th of November, Japan Standard Time.

The replica is scheduled to be shipped to customers in March 2026.
