One Piece’s Sabo x Memphis Grizzlies NBA Collab Figure Opens for Pre-Orders
Image by Charlotte DavisBandai has opened pre-orders for a new One Piece x NBA MASTER STARS PIECE figure featuring Sabo in a Memphis Grizzlies uniform as part of the final wave in the official crossover collection.
The One Piece x NBA partnership was first revealed in November 2025, pairing characters from Eiichiro Oda’s long-running series with teams from the world’s biggest professional basketball league.

All ten MASTER STARS PIECE figures were later displayed together at NBA HOUSE JAPAN, giving fans an early look at the full range before Bandai began rolling out each character and team pairing across several pre-order waves.

Sabo is one of the most important figures in Luffy’s past, growing up alongside Luffy and Ace as their sworn brother before eventually becoming Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army and one of its strongest fighters.

The “ONE PIECE × NBA MASTER STARS PIECE THE SABO MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES,” priced at ¥12,100 (approx. $76 USD / £56 GBP), measures approximately 19 cm tall including its base and captures Sabo dribbling in the Memphis Grizzlies uniform.

His low stance and control of the basketball give the sculpt a sense of movement without relying on an airborne pose, recreating his appearance from the original One Piece x NBA collaboration artwork in three dimensions.

Portgas D. Ace joins Sabo in the concluding wave, bringing Luffy’s other sworn brother into the collection with the New York Knicks and creating a fitting final pairing for the series.

The “ONE PIECE × NBA MASTER STARS PIECE THE PORTGAS.D. ACE NEW YORK KNICKS,” also priced at ¥12,100 (approx. $76 USD / £56 GBP), stands approximately 27 cm tall including its base and shows Ace launching toward the basket for a dunk in the Knicks’ blue and orange colors.

Ace’s elevated pose contrasts strongly with Sabo’s grounded dribble, while both figures continue the collection’s approach of turning the basketball-themed key visuals into full character sculpts.

Together, Sabo and Ace complete a ten-figure lineup that started with Gear 5 Luffy representing the Los Angeles Lakers and Enel paired with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Red-Haired Shanks and Roronoa Zoro formed the next wave, with Shanks wearing Chicago Bulls colors and Zoro representing the Boston Celtics.

Nami then joined the Denver Nuggets while Sanji was paired with the Indiana Pacers, adding two more Straw Hat Pirates to the basketball crossover with poses created around their respective team appearances.

Trafalgar Law and Yamato made up the penultimate release, with Law dribbling behind his back in Golden State Warriors colors and Yamato rising for a powerful dunk while representing the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bandai has spread the collection across several release months, with Luffy and Enel scheduled for October 2026, Shanks and Zoro in November, Nami and Sanji in December, and Law and Yamato following in January 2027.

The One Piece x NBA collaboration has grown beyond the MASTER STARS PIECE range as well, with S.H.Figuarts releases, Chopper plush toys, apparel, acrylic stands, and additional merchandise using the same character and NBA team pairings.

Pre-orders for the Sabo and Ace figures are now open through Premium Bandai Japan, with reservations potentially ending early if the available production quantity is reached.

Both figures are scheduled to begin shipping in February 2027, bringing the planned ten-character One Piece x NBA MASTER STARS PIECE collection to its conclusion.
Bandai has stated that the figures may be sold overseas in the future, although a dedicated Premium Bandai US release has not yet been confirmed.
