KONOSUBA’s New Official RPG Opens Pre-Registration Ahead of Launch
KADOKAWA has officially opened pre-registration for KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity to This Beloved Town!, while also unveiling the game’s first teaser trailer and key visual during the anime’s 10th anniversary “Colorful” event.
KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is based on Natsume Akatsuki’s hugely popular light novel series, which has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and follows the misadventures of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin and Darkness as they stumble through one chaotic fantasy adventure after another.
The franchise first debuted as a television anime in 2016 and continues to be one of the most popular comedy isekai series, with a fourth anime season already scheduled to air in 2027.
The new game, which will be playable on iOS, Android and PC, was originally announced in January 2026 and tells a completely original story set within the world of KONOSUBA, giving players the chance to experience what KADOKAWA describes as an “isekai trouble life RPG” built around the series’ trademark humor and unpredictable adventures.
Original series creator Natsume Akatsuki is supervising the game’s production, while original illustrator Kurone Mishima is also contributing to the project to help preserve the look and feel of the series.
To celebrate the release of the teaser trailer and key visual, the official X account has also launched a giveaway campaign offering signed canvas artwork from the anime’s main voice cast.
The campaign will be split across four rounds, with one winner receiving artwork signed by Jun Fukushima as Kazuma, Sora Amamiya as Aqua, Rie Takahashi as Megumin, or Ai Kayano as Darkness during each respective entry period.
The first giveaway runs from July 26 to August 3, followed by Aqua’s campaign from August 3 to August 10, Megumin’s from August 10 to August 17, and Darkness’ from August 17 to August 24.
Pre-registration for KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity to This Beloved Town! is now available in Japan through the App Store and Google Play, ahead of an expected Q3 or Q4 2026 launch.
An international release for the game is not currently confirmed.
