KONOSUBA: Prosperity for This City Coming to PC and Mobile in 2026
Kadokawa has announced a new game based on the highly popular KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! TV anime series.
The new title, KONOSUBA: Prosperity for this Beloved City!, is scheduled for release in Japan during 2026.
The game will launch on multiple platforms, making the experience accessible to a wide audience on PC, iOS, and Android devices.
This new entry to the franchise is confirmed to feature an original story, providing fans of the franchise with a fresh adventure that builds upon the established world and characters of the Isekai comedy series.
The Konosuba franchise has gained a global following for its satirical take on fantasy tropes, centering on the misadventures of the protagonist Kazuma Satou and his party of companions.
The creators behind the original work shared their enthusiasm for the project. Natsume Akatsuki, the creator of the original light novel series, offered his congratulations on the new development:
“Congratulations and thank you for the new KONOSUBA game! I’d like to aim to be an independent solo player like Yunyun, so I hope the event design won’t exclude those who play alone. I’m really looking forward to starting the game!”
Kurone Mishima, the illustrator for the light novels, also provided a comment, stating:
“Congratulations on the new KONOSUBA game! I’m truly happy to be able to meet Kazuma and the others again in this form. I hope many people will enjoy playing it! I’ll be playing as well once the game is released!”
