Square Enix Turns Tifa’s FFVII Rebirth Swimsuit Costume Into Its Latest STATIC ARTS Statue
Image by James RichardsonSquare Enix has officially opened orders for a new STATIC ARTS statue of Tifa Lockhart that recreates one of her popular swimsuit costumes from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Tifa is one of the central members of Cloud Strife’s party in Final Fantasy VII, combining her warm and supportive personality with formidable close-range fighting abilities and a deeply personal connection to Cloud’s past.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth expands her role as the party journeys beyond Midgar, with one of its lighter chapters taking Cloud and his companions to the beach resort of Costa del Sol before their adventure continues across the wider world.
The new statue recreates Tifa’s “Shining Spirit” swimsuit, one of two beach outfits available for her during the Costa del Sol section of Rebirth and an alternate costume that players can continue using later in the game.
Her pale purple swimsuit features layered frills and a lighter summer look that contrasts strongly with the black and white combat outfit normally associated with Tifa.
Square Enix has recreated the costume alongside the flower worn in her hair, with careful sculpting across her long hairstyle and the flowing strands surrounding her face.
Standing approximately 26 cm tall, the statue presents Tifa with a relaxed smile and an upright pose that captures a much quieter moment than the martial arts stances seen across many of her previous figures.
A clear base recreates shallow water around Tifa’s feet, with sculpted splashes and ripples helping connect the statue directly to the Costa del Sol setting where the outfit first appears.
The new release also follows Square Enix’s “STATIC ARTS Aerith Gainsborough Swimsuit Ver.,” which recreated Aerith’s Floral Delight beach outfit with a similarly water-inspired base and launched earlier in 2026.
Together, the two statues give collectors the option of recreating another of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s more relaxed character moments away from the battles and increasingly serious events surrounding Cloud’s pursuit of Sephiroth.
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth STATIC ARTS Tifa Lockhart – Swimsuit Ver. is priced at ¥29,700 (approx. $187 USD / £137 GBP), with pre-orders now open via hobby goods retailers including HobbyLink Japan.
The statue is currently scheduled for release in November 2026.
