Madoka Magica’s New Official Fashion Collab Features Stunning Soul Gem and Dark Orb Necklaces

The collaboration combines some of the most recognizable imagery from Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion with ANNA SUI’s familiar butterflies and roses, carrying those motifs across necklaces, bags, wallets, accessories and everyday items.
Madoka and Homura are at the center of the collection, with their pink and purple color schemes appearing throughout alongside references to the red ribbon, Soul Gems and Dark Orb that play major roles in the movie.
Rebellion follows the events of the original Madoka Magica story and places Homura at the center of a new mystery involving Madoka, the other magical girls and a seemingly restored Mitakihara City.
Its ending completely changes the relationship between Madoka and Homura, with the Dark Orb becoming one of the clearest visual symbols of Homura’s transformation and making it an especially fitting choice for the new ANNA SUI jewelry.
The most elaborate pieces recreate Madoka’s Soul Gem and Homura’s Dark Orb as individual necklaces, each finished with an ANNA SUI butterfly across the front and designed so the chain can be shortened to use the pendant as a charm.
A third necklace combines both characters instead, splitting a butterfly motif between Madoka and Homura before adding the red ribbon associated with their relationship at its center.
The same approach carries into the larger accessories, with the wallet and 2-way bag using embossed Soul Gems, the Dark Orb, ribbons and roses across their surfaces while butterfly hardware picks up Madoka and Homura’s respective colors.

The collaboration arrives as the long-awaited direct sequel to Rebellion, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgisnacht Rising, is currently screening in Japan.
Walpurgisnacht Rising picks up directly from the altered world created at the end of Rebellion, making the use of Homura’s Dark Orb and Madoka’s Soul Gem in the ANNA SUI collection closely tied to the continuing story.
The movie’s Japanese theatrical release has also produced several collectibles of its own, including a light-up popcorn box that places Madoka on one side and Homura on the other within a stained-glass-style design.

Fans spending ¥10,000 or more (approximately $64 USD / £48 GBP) on the Madoka Magica range in a single transaction will also receive one exclusive three-dimensional collaboration sticker sheet, with only one bonus supplied per transaction regardless of how far the total exceeds the threshold.
Orders for the ANNA SUI x Madoka Magica collection will open exclusively through Japan’s Marui Web Channel on September 19, 2026 at 12:00 PM JST and are scheduled to remain available until November 15 at 11:59 PM JST, although individual products may close early if their allocated quantities are reached.
Samples will also be displayed at the Madoka Magica POP UP SHOP in OIOI at Yurakucho Marui from September 19 to 27, Hakata Marui from October 2 to 18 and Namba Marui from November 6 to 15.
