HORI Reveals Adorable New Ditto Carry Cases for Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo Switch 2 owners will soon have two new ways to carry and protect their hardware thanks to a freshly announced Pokémon-inspired accessory collection from gaming peripheral manufacturer HORI.
The new range takes inspiration from Ditto, one of the franchise’s most recognizable Pokémon, transforming the lovable shape-shifting creature into practical storage solutions designed specifically for Nintendo’s latest console.
The collection consists of two products, the “Ditto Plush Pouch for Nintendo Switch 2” and the “Ditto All-in-One Storage Bag for Nintendo Switch 2”.
Rather than focusing solely on protection, both accessories incorporate numerous themed design elements that celebrate Ditto’s playful appearance throughout the Pokémon series.
The “Ditto Plush Pouch for Nintendo Switch 2” is designed with a soft exterior that recreates Ditto’s distinctive shape and expression.
Inside, users can store the Nintendo Switch 2 system itself along with an AC adapter, an HDMI cable, and up to six game cards.
The larger “Ditto All-in-One Storage Bag for Nintendo Switch 2” is intended for players who want to transport their complete setup in a single case.
In addition to accommodating the console, the bag provides space for the Nintendo Switch 2 dock, Joy-Con 2 Grip, AC adapter, HDMI cable, and other essential accessories.
Three internal dividers are included to help organize equipment, while a removable carrying handle offers additional flexibility when travelling.
Both accessories feature custom zipper pulls inspired by Ditto, adding an extra touch of Pokémon personality to the designs.
The interior lining of each product is also decorated with Ditto-themed patterns, extending the character motif beyond the exterior appearance.
Fans paying close attention to the finer details will also notice Ditto’s Pokédex number, No. 132, incorporated into the shoulder strap of the pouch and the carrying handle of the storage bag.
Pre-orders for both accessories are currently available, with each product priced at ¥5,480 (approx. $38 USD/£28 GBP) and scheduled to launch on July 31 according to listings on Amazon Japan.
