hololive and Wendy’s Japan team up for American diner themed collab

The fast-food chain Wendy’s First Kitchen has announced a new collaboration campaign with the popular VTuber group, hololive.
The new event, titled “BAKATARE DINER,” will feature the hololive talents Shirakami Fubuki, Shiranui Flare, and Tsunomaki Watame.

Wendy’s First Kitchen is a restaurant chain in Japan that is a partnership between the American burger chain Wendy’s and the Japanese fast-food brand First Kitchen.

The three VTubers featured in the collaboration are known by fans as the “BAKATARE” trio, a name derived from a moment during one of their previous collaboration streams.

An announcement revealing the collaboration was made on the company’s official social media account on X.
The post included a new, original illustration created specifically for the campaign which shows the three VTubers dressed in American-style diner waitress uniforms.
The full details of the collaboration, such as whether it will include themed menu items, exclusive merchandise, or in-store decorations, have not yet been made public and will be announced in due course.
A recent collaboration with Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ TABOO NIGHT XXXX saw the sale of a themed menu and exclusive merchandise at Wendy’s First Kitchen stores.

Based on this, it seems likely that the same format will be followed for this collaboration with hololive.

The Wendy’s First Kitchen x hololive “BAKATARE DINER” collaboration is scheduled to begin on Friday, the 15th of August, 2025, and is planned to run until Sunday, the 21st of September, 2025.
