Iris Odyssey: Hephaistos’s Ring Set for May Release

Developer Eisnid has officially announced that the modern-day fantasy visual novel Iris Odyssey: Hephaistos’s Ring is scheduled to launch for PC via Steam on May 29, 2026.

The game will cater to a global audience by supporting English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options at launch.

Set in a recreation of modern-day Shibuya, the story follows a girl named Fuka who is searching for her missing brother and a magic investigator named Iris.

The narrative is a classic text-based adventure where players make critical choices that unlock new story elements as the mystery progresses.

Players will witness the deepening bond between the two protagonists as they navigate a realm of magic and a complex conspiracy.

Fuka Nishizono, voiced by Konomi Inagakai, is a middle-school freshman who awakens to hidden powers while searching for her brother, Mitsuba, who disappeared three years ago.

Iris, voiced by Konomi Kohara, is a seasoned investigator pursuing a criminal organization known as the Skyseekers.

The supporting cast includes Sakuya Kasasa, a university student voiced by Miyari Nemoto, who assists Iris with her investigations despite her own reservations about Fuka.

Mitsuba, voiced by Ayaka Okamoto, remains a central figure in the plot as his disappearance is linked to the nefarious activities Iris is currently tracking.

This title serves as the opening chapter of the Iris Odyssey saga, blending elements of destiny and intrigue within its modern fantasy setting.
