Heero Yuy Capsule Collection Launches for Gundam Wing’s 30th Anniversary
Bandai’s official Gundam apparel brand STRICT-G has announced a new line of apparel focused on one of the most iconic characters from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
The new “STRICT G Heero Yuy Capsule Collection” features a variety of stylish apparel inspired by the stoic Gundam pilot.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing originally premiered in Japan in 1995 and quickly became a massive international success.

The central protagonist of this ensemble cast is Heero Yuy, a fiercely dedicated and highly trained operative known for his stoic personality.
Heero serves as the pilot of the titular Wing Gundam and carries out his missions with ruthless efficiency.
He is immediately recognizable to fans due to his signature casual outfit, which consists of a simple green tank top and dark athletic shorts.
Fans can now replicate Heero’s iconic look from the series with officially licensed garments for the first time.

It is sold as a convenient two-pack, packaged in a special box utilizing scenes from the 30th-anniversary promotional video.

This 100% cotton hoodie features a commemorative 30th-anniversary logo elegantly embroidered on the left chest.

- Price: 8,250 yen (approx. £43 GBP / $55 USD).
This 100% cotton sweatshirt features a large front print of the memorable teddy bear that appears during the show.
Online pre-orders for the capsule collection opened on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM JST.
Reservations will be accepted through the STRICT-G Online Store via Premium Bandai until Sunday, March 29, 2026.
Online orders are currently scheduled to begin shipping out to customers in April 2026.
Fans can also purchase the clothing line in person at STRICT-G physical store locations, including the Tokyo Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, NEOPASA Shizuoka, and Taga Service Area branches.
General in-store sales will officially begin on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
