Heaven Official's Blessing Nendoroids Return as Xie Lian and Hua Cheng Re-Releases Confirmed

Good Smile Company has confirmed the long-awaited re-release of two of its most sought-after Nendoroids, giving fans another opportunity to secure the hugely popular figures of Heaven Official’s Blessing’s Xie Lian and Hua Cheng after their original releases quickly sold out back in 2024.

The pair became some of the most in-demand entries in the Nendoroid lineup when they first launched, with many hobby retailers selling out rapidly as global demand for the series was at an all time high.

Based on the hit animated adaptation of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s internationally acclaimed web novel, Heaven Official’s Blessing follows the story of Xie Lian, a once-revered crown prince who ascends to the heavens for a third time, only to become entwined with the mysterious Ghost King Hua Cheng.

This second release allows longtime collectors and newcomers alike another chance to add both characters to their collections after years of limited availability.

Xie Lian returns complete with three interchangeable face plates, including a standard smiling expression, a surprised face, and a cheerful smiling expression.

His accessories include his signature large bamboo hat, a smaller handheld hat, the spiritual weapon Ruoye in its white silk ribbon form, and a broom for recreating scenes from his peaceful life in Puqi Village.

The included parts also allow collectors to display gentle moments between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng alongside more relaxed everyday scenes from the series.

As an added bonus, pre-orders placed through the Good Smile Company Official Shop include an exclusive interchangeable hand part featuring a butterfly resting delicately on Xie Lian’s hand.

Joining him in the simultaneous re-release is the Hua Cheng Nendoroid, bringing the charismatic Ghost King back after his original release.

The figure includes three interchangeable expressions consisting of a composed standard face, an elegant crazed expression and a warm smile that reflects his gentler side when together with Xie Lian.

Hua Cheng also comes complete with his cursed sabre E’Ming, his iconic red umbrella, a swirling effect of silver butterflies, and a small white flower for recreating memorable moments from the series.

Good Smile Company Official Shop pre-orders for Hua Cheng additionally include an exclusive hand-holding part designed to complement Xie Lian’s figure, making the pair even more appealing when displayed together.

The returning duo perfectly recreates one of modern Chinese fantasy’s most beloved partnerships and gives collectors another opportunity to own a pair of Nendoroids that many fans previously missed during their original release.
