Gundam’s hololive Collab Expands as First Scale Figures Announced at MegaHobby EXPO 2026
Image by Charlotte DavisFigure manufacturer MegaHouse has confirmed two new statues based on the ongoing Gundam x hololive collaboration that will feature Usada Pekora and Rindo Chihaya alongside their respective Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn pairings.
The two scale figures were announced at MegaHobby EXPO 2026, where a display at the MegaHouse booth revealed that both projects have entered production.
The upcoming “Lucrea Usada Pekora Pilot Suit [Mobile Suit Gundam UC Ver.]” will build on Pekora’s pairing with the Unicorn Gundam, while the “Lucrea Rindo Chihaya Pilot Suit [Mobile Suit Gundam UC Ver.]” is connected to the Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn.
Both are based on Bandai’s wider Gundam x hololive project, which began earlier this year by matching hololive talents with mobile suits selected from across the Gundam franchise, giving each combination its own colors, pilot suits, emblems and artwork.
Chihaya was part of the original six-member lineup alongside Sakura Miko, Hoshimachi Suisei, Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine and Hakui Koyori, with her black and silver Banshee Norn forming one of the project’s two Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn pairings.
Pekora joined during the second wave, which also introduced Oozora Subaru, Tsunomaki Watame, Mori Calliope, IRyS and Todoroki Hajime, with her Unicorn Gundam adopting white, blue and other colors taken from her usual hololive appearance.
Bandai has been steadily turning those crossover designs into physical merchandise, with the first releases taking the form of METAL ROBOT SPIRITS versions of Sakura Miko’s Nu Gundam and Hoshimachi Suisei’s Sazabi.
Image by James RichardsonSeveral of the collaboration mobile suits are also being developed as Real Grade Gunpla kits, including Houshou Marine’s Crossbone Gundam X1.
The two new statues continue MegaHouse’s growing involvement with Gundam character figures, particularly through its Lucrea and Lucrea light brands.
One of its biggest recent crossover releases was the “Lucrea Hatsune Miku x Wing Gundam Zero EW”, which transformed neco’s Gundam-inspired Miku artwork into a premium figure complete with the mobile suit’s large angel-style wings.
MegaHouse also launched its more affordable Lucrea light line with a pilot suit figure of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX protagonist Amate Yuzuriha, better known as Machu, before expanding the series with characters including Nyaan, Due Murasame, Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala.
Elsewhere in its Gundam lineup, MegaHouse recently fully revealed a new GGG figure of Gundam SEED FREEDOM’s Cagalli Yula Athha, recreating her appearance during one of the movie’s expanded epilogue scenes.
The Pekora and Chihaya announcements add another branch to that recent Gundam figure output, while also giving the Gundam x hololive project its first confirmed scale figures.
Image by Charlotte DavisMegaHouse has not yet revealed the finished designs, scale, pricing, or release schedule for either Gundam x hololive Lucrea statue, with the MegaHobby EXPO announcement currently confirming only that both figures are in development.
