GNOSIA Stage Play Adaptation Confirmed

Fans of the sci-fi visual novel GNOSIA can look forward to a new stage production titled GNOSIA The Live Playing Theater which will run at the Hikosen Theater in Tokyo from August 21 to September 6, 2026.

This announcement follows the conclusion of the 21 episode anime adaptation and introduces a unique improvisational performance style for the upcoming show.

Fumiya Matsuzaki, the Werewolf Supervisor for the GNOSIA anime, serves as the director for the production while Eisuke Ikenaga contributes as the scenario writer.

The production receives assistance from Werewolf TLPT, a group known for stage shows that incorporate the social deduction mechanics found in games like Mafia and Werewolf.

Each performance features actors who receive their specific roles just before taking the stage, ensuring that no two shows are identical.

The structure of the play involves three stages of improvisation starting with small group meetings and expanding to a final session featuring 15 people.

Because every show features a different ending based on the live social deduction gameplay, all performances will be live-streamed for audiences.

The cast includes Ginga Shitara as Yuri and Teru Ikuta as Setsu, with many other characters such as SQ, Racio, and Jina featuring alternating performers across different dates.

The original GNOSIA game was developed by Petit Depotto and published by PLAYISM as a social deduction RPG where players must identify shapeshifting enemies on a spaceship.

The story centers on Yuri, who is trapped in a time loop and must uncover the truth behind the Gnosia threat to escape her repeating reality.

Production details were officially shared on March 14, 2026, through the project’s social media accounts where tickets are currently being advertised for sale.

The creative team for the previous anime adaptation included director Kazuya Ichikawa at studio domerica and series composer Jukki Hanada.
