GARRACK has officially revealed four automatic watches inspired by Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, combining character-driven designs with traditional Japanese watchmaking.

The movie opened in Japan on September 19, 2025, before reaching US theaters the following month, directly continuing MAPPA’s 2022 Chainsaw Man anime as Denji’s relationship with the mysterious Reze develops into a dangerous conflict involving the Bomb Devil.

The collection includes designs based on Chainsaw Man, the Bomb Devil, Makima and Aki Hayakawa, with each watch using its hands, hour markers and smaller dial details to reference its featured character.

GARRACK specializes in character-inspired lifestyle products designed to feel suitable for everyday use, while S-MEISTER is a mechanical watch line developed from Japanese watch brand SONNE with a particular focus on traditional materials and craftsmanship.

The brand has previously created timepieces based on other popular anime, including Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell automatic watches featuring raden shell inlay, and a Demon Slayer watch collection that incorporated traditional Kanazawa foil.

Other releases have included One Piece and Haikyu smartwatches, alongside an earlier Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc smartwatch collection based on Denji, Reze, Makima and Aki.

The latest collection shifts back toward traditional mechanical watchmaking by using momizome-shi, a variety of Awa Washi paper produced through a process that involves crumpling each sheet by hand before dyeing it with multiple colors.

The process creates natural mixtures of color, creases and irregular patterns across the dial, meaning the exact appearance of each finished watch will vary slightly rather than looking completely identical.

Awa Washi has a history stretching back approximately 1,300 years in Japan’s Tokushima Prefecture, with the collaboration developed alongside Awagami Factory to combine the traditional material with colors drawn from the movie.

The Chainsaw Man Model uses orange, red and darker tones across its Awa Washi dial, with hour and minute hands shaped like chainsaws and a representation of Chainsaw Man’s head positioned at 12 o’clock.

Its remaining hour markers resemble the teeth of a chainsaw, while a starter-cord symbol beside the open-heart window references the cord Denji pulls to transform.

The Bomb Devil Model carries colors inspired by Reze’s explosive transformation, pairing a bomb-shaped hour hand with a minute hand based on the Bomb Devil’s arm.

The character’s head appears at 12 o’clock, while the pin from her choker is recreated at 6 o’clock as a smaller detail connected directly to her transformation.

The Makima Model uses colors associated with the Public Safety officer and gives both hands a shape inspired by her necktie, creating one of the more understated designs in the collection.

A coffee cup marks the 12 o’clock position, while the remaining indexes reference the distinctive ring pattern seen within Makima’s eyes.

The Aki Hayakawa Model turns his sword into the minute hand and its scabbard into the hour hand, reflecting the character’s more restrained and practical appearance.

A cigarette symbol appears at 12 o’clock, while the details at 3 and 9 o’clock are shaped to resemble Aki’s earrings.

All four watches use Japanese-made MIYOTA automatic movements and are assembled individually by watchmakers at a domestic Japanese factory before undergoing checks covering accuracy, operation and water resistance.
