Fruit Mountain Party Launches April 23

Developer BeXide has officially announced that the multiplayer 3D puzzle game Fruit Mountain Party will exit Early Access and launch for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on April 23, 2026.

This full release follows an Early Access period on PC that began on August 28, 2025, which allowed the development team to gather community feedback regarding online stability and gameplay mechanics.

The title serves as a competitive follow up to the original 3D puzzle hit Fruit Mountain and introduces a versus mode supporting up to four players in both local and online environments.

Players must skillfully toss and stack various fruits on a plate to merge identical types into larger versions to increase their total score.

The game will feature several diverse versus modes at launch including Standard Race, Thief Frenzy, Fruit of the Sun, Great Harvest, and Survival.

Single player enthusiasts can access a Time Attack mode to compete for the fastest watermelon completion time on global rankings or practice against NPC opponents.

The Nintendo Switch 2 edition is set to include enhanced features such as improved frame rates for smoother visuals and a GameShare function that allows four players to compete using a single copy of the software.

Users who already own the standard Nintendo Switch version will be offered the option to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition through a paid Upgrade Pack.

Customization options are also included, allowing players to personalize their gameplay experience by dressing up their fruit plates with various unlockable styles.
