Faith: The Unholy Trinity Arrives On PS5 April 9

Publisher New Blood Interactive and developer Airdorf Games have officially announced that the pixel horror collection FAITH: The Unholy Trinity will launch for the PlayStation 5 on April 9, 2026.

This upcoming release brings the complete retro inspired experience to Sony’s latest console, following its successful tenure on other gaming platforms.

The title originally made its debut for PC via Steam, GOG, and itchio on October 21, 2022, providing players with a unique take on 8-bit aesthetic horror.

Following the initial PC launch, the game expanded its reach to the Nintendo Switch on October 10, 2024, and subsequently arrived on Xbox Series consoles on October 24, 2025.

FAITH: The Unholy Trinity draws heavy inspiration from the classic gaming era and the cultural Satanic Scare of the 1980s, tasking players with performing exorcisms and battling possessed cultists.

The narrative follows a young priest through three harrowing chapters, beginning with a return to a rural Connecticut home where a tragic exorcism occurred on September 21, 1986.

Players must navigate haunted forests, abandoned churches, and secret sanctums while utilizing a holy crucifix as their primary tool against paranormal entities.

The experience is characterized by its use of chunky pixels, hand-crafted rotoscope animations, and a haunting retro soundtrack that utilizes abandonware speech synthesizers for demonic voices.

This PlayStation 5 version marks the final step in the game’s multi-platform rollout, ensuring the cult hit is accessible across all major modern hardware.
