Doraemon: Nobita And The New Castle Of The Undersea Devil Creditless Opening Video Revealed

The Doraemon Nobita and the New Castle of the Undersea Devil anime film has maintained its position at the top of the Japanese box office for five consecutive weeks as of March 31, 2026.
To celebrate this commercial milestone, Toho Movie’s official YouTube channel has released the film’s creditless opening video for a limited time ending on May 31, 2026.

The opening sequence features the song Yume wo Kanaete Doraemon performed by mao, a track that has served as the theme for the Doraemon television series since 2007.
Since its theatrical debut on February 27, 2026, across 387 screens, the 45th installment in the long-running franchise has amassed three billion yen, which is approximately 18.89 million USD.

This financial achievement marks the 20th time a Doraemon feature film has crossed the 3 billion yen threshold since the year 2000.
The current film is a modern remake of the 1983 classic Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil, following the iconic characters as they explore the legendary kingdoms of Mu and Atlantis.

Director Tetsuo Yajima and scriptwriter Isao Murayama led the creative team for this production, which remains grounded in the original manga created by Fujiko F Fujio.
Total admissions for the movie have reached 239 million viewers during its initial five week run in Japanese cinemas.
