Digimon Tamers 25th Anniversary D-Arc Devices Announced by Bandai
Bandai has announced a new line of virtual pets that celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic Digimon Tamers anime.
The “D-Ark -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-” collection brings modern upgrades to the iconic interactive devices featured in the series.
The Digimon Tamers anime first aired in 2001, introducing a slightly darker and more grounded take on the franchise.
The series follows Takato Matsuki, a young card game enthusiast who accidentally brings his own custom digital monster to life.
He teams up with other Tamers to defend the real world from dangerous rogue entities and a mysterious digital hazard.
Digimon Tamers established a unique formula where human partners actively supported their monsters in battle by swiping physical modifier cards through their handheld devices.
This modern recreation perfectly replicates that interactive experience by allowing players to swipe the 14 included physical plastic cards to trigger authentic sound effects and character voice lines.
The upgraded hardware features a full-color LCD screen, a built-in vibration motor for immersive battle feedback, and convenient USB Type-C charging capabilities.
Three different models will be available for fans to collect:

Alongside the Digimon Tamers anniversary devices, Bandai is also expanding its unique crossover efforts with a new wave of “Digimon Pendulum COLOR Godzilla Edition” virtual pets, which were also revealed during the recent global DIGIMON CON 2026 online broadcast.
Online pre-orders for the D-Arc -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- devices are now open.
Reservations will be accepted exclusively through Premium Bandai until Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11:00 PM JST.
The anniversary D-Arc models are currently scheduled to begin shipping out to customers in July 2026.
