Danganronpa to Join Final Fantasy, NieR: Automata, and Chrono Trigger at Square Enix’s GAME MUSIC JAM Live Concert

Square Enix has announced that the Danganronpa franchise will be joining the lineup for the upcoming live concert event “GAME MUSIC JAM – Level 1”.
“GAME MUSIC JAM – Level 1” is a large-scale concert experience dedicated to celebrated video game soundtracks, giving audiences the opportunity to hear iconic music performed in a live setting with enhanced audiovisual presentation.

The event’s existing lineup already includes music from major titles such as Final Fantasy XIV, NieR: Automata, Chrono Trigger, and UNDERTALE.
First launched in 2010, Danganronpa has become one of gaming’s most recognizable mystery adventure franchises.

The series centers on exceptionally talented high school students who find themselves trapped in isolated environments and forced into deadly killing games.
Players must investigate murders and participate in intense class trials, where uncovering the truth is often the only path to survival.

Themes of hope and despair form the foundation of the franchise’s storytelling, helping establish its distinctive identity and dedicated global fanbase.
The series is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for the long-running property.

Newly revealed GAME MUSIC JAM promotional artwork now prominently features Monokuma, the Danganronpa franchise’s iconic mascot, who is one of the most recognizable figures from the series.

The key visual was specially illustrated by artist Toshiyuki Itahana for the event.
In addition to the live performances, organizers have confirmed a special livestream program that will be broadcast ahead of the event.

The stream is scheduled to air on both content creator Otsuichi’s YouTube channel and the official SQUARE ENIX MUSIC channel.
Otsuichi, who will serve as the event’s master of ceremonies, is expected to discuss highlights and behind-the-scenes details related to the concert.
Final Fantasy XIV Sound Director Masayoshi Soken will also appear during the broadcast.

According to organizers, viewers can look forward to exclusive discussions and commentary covering key aspects of the event that will not be available elsewhere.
“GAME MUSIC JAM – Level 1” will take place at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY from July 18 to July 20, while ticket lottery applications are currently being accepted through June 21 via the official website, with successful applicants scheduled to be notified on June 26.
