Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Unveiled for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC
Konami has announced that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will officially launch on October 15, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
The upcoming title is a 2D action exploration adventure developed in collaboration with Evil Empire and Motion Twin, the teams recognized for their work on Dead Cells.
Players will take on the role of Rose Belmont, the daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she navigates through Dracula’s Castle in a story set in the year 1499.
While the initial launch covers most major platforms, the Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to follow later in 2026 with specific release details to be confirmed at a future date.
This new entry is priced at $39.99 USD and aims to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary franchise.
The game was featured during the June 2026 Xbox Showcase where Konami confirmed the mid-October release date and revealed purchase bonus details.
Fans can expect a return to the classic gothic atmosphere that has defined the series since its debut while benefiting from modern gameplay mechanics.
