Bluey’s Happy Snaps Coming to All Major Platforms and Switch 2

Publisher Gameloft and developer Gameloft Brisbane have officially announced Bluey’s Happy Snaps for a wide range of gaming platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.

Scheduled for release in 2026, the game is being developed as a premium title that will exclude all in-game purchases and online play functionality to ensure a safe environment for younger players.

Physical editions of the game will be produced in partnership with Bandai Namco for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

The gameplay follows Bluey and Bingo as they use their father’s old camera to embark on a family trip, allowing players to explore their iconic home and various locations around Brisbane.

Players will be able to visit several sites from the television series that are making their video game debut, such as the ferry to The Park from the episode Spy Game and the lookout view from the special episode titled The Sign.

The interactive environments are filled with Australian wildlife like lorikeets and koalas that players can capture using the in-game photography mechanics.

Designed by a team of parents, the title aims to foster creativity and curiosity through sandbox-style activities and open-ended play that mirrors the themes of the global hit series.

A local cooperative play mode is included to allow two players to experience the adventure together as Bluey and Bingo, with one player handling the camera while the second player poses for shots.

The experience also features Play For Real Life moments, which are intended to provide practical guidance for families to continue their engagement with the series through activities away from the screen.

In addition to exploration, the game tasks players with collecting hundreds of digital stickers and decorations to create and personalize a unique scrapbook of their journey.
