Bandai to release a new beginner friendly model kit of Gundam Wing’s most iconic mobile suit
New, detailed product images have been released for an upcoming Gunpla model kit of the Wing Gundam from the classic 1995 anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
The “ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Wing Gundam” is part of the latest and most advanced introductory line of Gunpla from Bandai Spirits, designed to be the perfect starting point for new builders.
The kits in this series feature a number of modern technologies that make them both easy to assemble and highly detailed.
A key feature is the “touch gate” system, which allows the parts to be removed from the plastic runners by hand, with no tools required.
The kits also utilize a sophisticated and refined parts division, which allows for the full color separation of the model to be achieved through assembly alone, with no stickers needed.
This new kit brings the iconic protagonist’s mobile suit from Gundam Wing to this beginner-friendly line.
Despite having a low number of parts for an easy build, the model features an exceptional range of motion, which allows for a variety of dynamic action poses.
The kit also comes with the Wing Gundam’s signature armaments, including its powerful Buster Rifle and its shield.
This new release offers both new and veteran builders an accessible and high-quality new version of one of the most famous and beloved Gundam designs of all time.
The “ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Wing Gundam” is priced at ¥1,100 (approx. $7.5 USD/£5.5 GBP).
It is scheduled to be released at general retail stores from Saturday, the 11th of October, 2025.
