Bandai announces winner of annual Gunpla re-release fan poll vote

Bandai Spirits has revealed the final standings for a major user participation campaign designed to identify the most popular model kits previously released through their official online store.
The “Premium Bandai Gunpla General Election 2025” invited fans to cast votes for their favorite Mobile Suit Gundam model kits from a pool of approximately 750 items released since 2009.

The top spot was claimed by a high-specification Master Grade kit from Gundam Sentinel, which is a photo-novel series that remains highly popular among hardcore fans for its complex mechanical designs by Hajime Katoki.

The “MG 1/100 Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam (Task Force Alpha Ver.)” secured the victory with a commanding lead as it garnered more than double the votes of the runner-up.

This specific kit allows builders to assemble either the S Gundam or its heavy-armor Ex-S configuration in the distinct tricolor scheme of Task Force Alpha.
