Limited-Edition One Piece Wagashi Set Turns Devil Fruits Into Traditional Japanese Sweets

A historic Japanese confectionery manufacturer has teamed up with the massively popular One Piece franchise to create unique sweets based on the series’ iconic Devil Fruits.
The new “One Piece Devil Fruit Nerikiri Wagashi 5-Piece Set” transforms the supernatural fruits from the series into beautiful traditional Japanese sweets.

One Piece is a global phenomenon created by Eiichiro Oda that follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew as they search for the ultimate treasure.

In this universe, certain individuals gain extraordinary superhuman abilities by consuming mysterious and terrible-tasting Devil Fruits.
This new food collaboration allows fans to safely experience the thrill of eating these legendary fruits without losing their ability to swim.

The treats are meticulously hand-crafted by Daitokuya Chokyu, a highly respected traditional sweets shop that was originally founded over 300 years ago.
These skilled artisans use classic techniques to shape the delicate nerikiri dough into the intricate swirling patterns famous in the original comic.

The creators strictly avoid using artificial additives, ensuring that the natural flavors of the high-quality ingredients shine through.
Each individual piece is crafted to be approximately 1.5 times larger than a standard wagashi, offering a highly satisfying dessert experience.
The box itself features a special original design highlighting the five characters whose powers are represented inside.

Fans can enjoy Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi, which is filled with a smooth red bean paste known as koshi-an.

Chopper’s Hito Hito no Mi offers a roasted green tea flavor utilizing hojicha-an.

Robin’s Hana Hana no Mi features a classic matcha-an green tea paste.

Law’s Ope Ope no Mi delivers a rich chocolate flavor with choco-an.

Finally, Sabo’s Mera Mera no Mi provides a sweet cherry blossom experience using sakura-an.

The “One Piece Devil Fruit Nerikiri Wagashi 5-Piece Set” is priced at 4,980 yen (approx. £25 GBP / $32 USD).
Sales for the sweet treats officially began on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 via the Enny online store.
