Aniimo Set for PS5 Release

Publisher Kingsglory and developer Pawprint Studio have officially announced that the free to play creature catching RPG Aniimo will expand its reach with a newly confirmed PlayStation 5 version.
This upcoming title is slated for a 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and the Epic Games Store, joining the previously announced versions for Xbox Series, Steam, Microsoft Store, iOS, and Android.
Interested players can now add the game to their wishlists via the PlayStation Store to stay updated on its development.
The development team has confirmed that a playable demo will be featured at PAX East 2026, taking place from March 26 to March 29 at the Thomas M Menino Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston.
Set on the expansive continent of Idyll, the game invites players to explore an open world filled with unique creatures known as Aniimo that appear based on environmental factors like weather and time of day.
A core mechanic of the experience is the Twine system, which allows players to essentially become the Aniimo they collect to utilize specialized skills for puzzle solving and combat.
The narrative follows Pathfinders who can travel to a floating metropolis to engage in competitive battles and share stories with other players.
In addition to exploration, the game features a player versus environment versus player mode called Egg Heist, where three player teams compete for resources in the Lost Isles.
Outside of combat, players can manage a personal RV at various campsites and return to a Homeland area to plant crops and decorate their personal space.
The title aims to provide a next generation RPG experience by blending real time challenges with deep creature collection and social interaction elements.
