A new NIKKE themed tourism campaign is coming to Kyoto this fall

A special collaboration event has been announced that combines the popular mobile and PC game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and the historic city of Kyoto, Japan.
NIKKE already has a significant presence in Kyoto, with the city being home to one of two “MEGA NIKKE STORE” locations in Japan.

The new event is a partnership with the city of Kyoto and the “Oshi Tabi” program from the Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central).
“Oshi Tabi,” or “Favorite Character/Idol Travel,” is a program that creates themed travel experiences on the Tokaido Shinkansen, centered on popular anime, games, and idols.

This new campaign, “NIKKE in Kyoto,” is a real-world event designed to offer players a special travel experience, as if the game’s Commanders and Nikkes are visiting Kyoto on a mission break.
The collaboration is split into two main parts.
The first is the “NIKKE in Kyoto: Hannari Stamp Tour,” a stamp rally held with the support of the City of Kyoto.

This event will feature eight popular characters from the game – Rapi, Helm, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Viper, Liter, Bladie, and D – in brand-new, original illustrations depicting them in elegant, traditional Japanese “waso” attire.
The stamp tour will guide visitors through the city and will also feature the sale of original, Kyoto-themed merchandise.

The second part of the collaboration is with the “Oshi Tabi” program itself, which enhances the journey to Kyoto.
Travelers on the Tokaido Shinkansen will be able to listen to exclusive, special voice recordings from the NIKKE characters that are only available in the train cars.

They will also receive an original, commemorative design card as a gift for boarding the train.
This large-scale event fuses the modern, sci-fi world of the game with the traditional culture and scenery of Kyoto.
The “NIKKE in Kyoto with Oshi Tabi” portion of the event is scheduled to begin on Thursday, the 11th of September, 2025.
The “Hannari Stamp Tour” in Kyoto is scheduled to begin on Friday, the 19th of September, with both events running until the 31st of October, 2025.
