NAKED Meets Gaudi Exhibition 2026

Last Updated on March 5, 2026

The city of Tokyo is preparing to host a major cultural event at Warehouse Terrada in Shinagawa to commemorate the centennial of the passing of legendary architect Antoni Gaudi.

This exhibition represents a landmark collaboration between the creative studio NAKED, INC. and the Gaudi Foundation of Art, Design & Architecture, marking the first time such a partnership has been officially formed.

Attendees will have the rare opportunity to view an extensive collection of materials from the foundation, including original blueprints for the Sagrada Familia and Gaudi’s personal correspondence.

The display features academically significant items such as the specific production tools used by the architect, many of which are being presented to the public for the first time.

Interactive installations and participatory art experiences are integrated into the exhibit, allowing visitors of all ages to engage with the concepts behind the famous “unfinished” cathedral in Barcelona.

The narrative of the exhibition follows Gaudi’s life and career from his origins in Reus through his most famous projects like Park Guell and the central Tower of Jesus.

Following its initial run in the capital, the world tour is scheduled to move to the VS. gallery space within Gran Green Osaka during the spring season.

Located in the G1 Building of Warehouse Terrada, the venue is situated within a five minute walk of Tennozu Isle Station on the Tokyo Monorail and Rinkai Lines.
