Tokyo Ghoul Returns with New Collab Cafe Experience This Summer
Tokyo Ghoul fans will have another opportunity to pick up merchandise featuring the anime’s 10th anniversary artwork when a new takeaway collaboration cafe opens in Osaka this August.
Alongside the returning goods, the limited-time collaboration will introduce themed drinks inspired by the series and its characters, with exclusive bonuses also available to customers.
Tokyo Ghoul is the anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s popular manga, following college student Ken Kaneki after an encounter transforms him into a half-ghoul and forces him into a hidden world where humans and flesh-eating ghouls struggle to coexist.
The takeaway menu will feature character-inspired drinks alongside iced lattes decorated with edible prints depicting characters from the anime.
Visitors will also be able to purchase a returning selection of merchandise originally created for the TV Anime Tokyo Ghoul 10th Anniversary POP UP SHOP in Tokyo Tower, which was held during 2025.
These goods use specially drawn character illustrations produced for the 10th anniversary event, giving fans who missed the original Tokyo Tower release another opportunity to add them to their collections.
Customers purchasing eligible collaboration menu items and merchandise will receive one randomly selected coaster for every ¥2,000 (approx. $14 USD/ £10 GBP) spent, with eight designs featuring the specially drawn artwork available to collect.
The collaboration will be held at CAFE EPIC TALE in Osaka, with the venue operating primarily as a takeaway cafe for the Tokyo Ghoul event.
The Tokyo Ghoul × CAFE EPIC TALE collaboration will run from August 11 through August 25, 2026.
