Xbox Game Pass Reveals January Additions Including Star Wars Outlaws and Resident Evil
Microsoft has announced a huge wave of new titles joining the Game Pass subscription service throughout January, headlined by major additions like the open-world Star Wars Outlaws and the survival horror title Resident Evil Village.
Subscribers can immediately access two new games.
Brews & Bastards is now available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S across Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.
This title is an intoxicating, twin-stick shooter centered on action-packed combat where players select inebriated heroes to battle hordes of drunken demons.
Also available today is Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition for Cloud, Handheld, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
This puzzle-platformer allows players to rediscover the dark tale of Six, a lone child, now enhanced in stunning 4K resolution and running at 60 frames per second.
The next wave of titles will begin arriving on January 7.
Atomfall, a survival action game inspired by the 1957 Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England, joins Game Pass Premium for Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC.
Players explore a fictional quarantine zone, engaging in scavenging, crafting, fighting, and dialogue in a British countryside setting filled with cults and rogue agencies.
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, will also be available for Premium subscribers on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC, and features dynamic real-time action blended with tactical combat and risk-reward dice mechanics.
On the same day, REMATCH, a third-person, team-based football game designed for five-versus-five online play, arrives for Game Pass Premium on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
Finally, for January 7, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine: Master Crafted Edition will be available on Premium for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
This enhanced version of the brutal third-person shooter sees players step into the armor of a relentless Space Marine to crush Ork forces.
On January 8, the original Final Fantasy is added to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This is a remodeled 2D take on the very first installment in the globally recognized role-playing game series, offering the timeless story with improved ease of play.
One of the month’s biggest releases, Star Wars Outlaws, hits the service on January 13 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
This game takes place between the events of “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” with players assuming the role of scoundrel Kay Vess as they navigate the galaxy’s crime syndicates.
A family-friendly adventure arrives on January 15 with My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass across Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC.
This is a mystery adventure where one or two players use special pony abilities to stabilize unstable magic.
Rounding out the month on January 20 are two major releases.
Resident Evil Village, the eighth main entry in the popular survival horror series, will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Premium on Cloud, Console, and PC.
Set years after the events of “Resident Evil 7 Biohazard”, players continue the story of Ethan Winters in a haunting European village.
The same day also brings a Day One Game Pass launch, MIO: Memories in Orbit, a hand-crafted metroidvania set in a decaying world reclaimed by nature and robots, available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for Cloud, Handheld, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
As new titles are added, several games will also be leaving the Game Pass library on January 15.
These departing titles include Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Neon White, Road 96, The Ascent, and The Grinch Christmas Adventures.
Players looking to keep these titles permanently can save up to 20 percent off if they purchase them from the Xbox store before they are removed from Game Pass.
