VITURE reveals limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 XR glasses

VITURE, a rising star in the consumer electronics sector known for its high-end Extended Reality (XR) eyewear, has announced its first collaboration model with CD PROJEKT RED, the developer behind the open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, VITURE specializes in creating stylish XR glasses that function as wearable displays.

Their devices allow users to project a massive, private virtual screen in front of their eyes by connecting to gaming consoles like the Steam Deck, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, or to smartphones and PCs, effectively allowing for high-fidelity gaming and media consumption anywhere.

The new collaboration model, titled the “VITURE × Cyberpunk 2077 5th Anniversary Collector’s Edition,” is a limited-run release designed to commemorate the game’s fifth anniversary.

The concept behind the hardware is to “implement” the aesthetics of Night City into the real world using next-generation technology.

The design features a semi-transparent shell that reveals the internal structure of the device, accented by rim lighting that glows like neon signs.

This aesthetic choice is intended to make the device feel less like a standard gadget and more like “gear from a future city.”

Designed in close collaboration with the CD PROJEKT RED art team, the glasses evoke the appearance of the high-end “Kiroshi Optics” implants used by mercenaries and netrunners in the game.

Production is strictly limited to 10,000 units worldwide, each marked with a unique serial number.

In a playful nod to the source material, one lucky unit will bear the specific serial number “#2077.”

This high-tech merchandise announcement arrives alongside other major expansions of the franchise’s IP.

CD PROJEKT RED and WeirdCo recently announced the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, a tabletop experience featuring characters from both the video game and the Edgerunners anime, which is set to launch on Kickstarter in 2026.
