HOARDER Announced for PS5, Xbox, and PC by Darkwood Co-Creator

Publisher Awaken Realms and developer Byzel have officially announced a new psychological horror title titled HOARDER on March 19, 2026.
The development team is led by Gustaw Stachaszewski, who is recognized for his previous work as the co-creator of the horror game Darkwood.
The upcoming project is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, though a specific launch date was not confirmed during the announcement.
HOARDER begins as a mundane cleaning simulator where players are tasked with decluttering the residence of a hoarder couple.
As players progress through the cleaning tasks, they can uncover details about the previous inhabitants and the mystery surrounding their disappearance.
The game offers a choice where players can either end the experience early by earning enough cash for a dream vacation or delve deeper into the narrative secrets.
Those who choose to investigate further will discover an underground staircase that leads to a mysterious facility which shifts the gameplay away from the initial simulation mechanics.
Within this facility, a day and night cycle is introduced, and players must operate an underwater submarine to explore the deep sea floor using a LiDAR scanner.
Salvaged items found during these explorations can be used to upgrade the facility or advance the primary story.
Byzel is described as an indie team within Awaken Realms Digital, and the project also features talent involved with other notable titles like Superhot.
