Tougen Anki’s Nikko Kegon Falls Arc Premieres October 2026
The television anime adaptation of Tougen Anki will proceed with the Nikko Kegon Falls Arc scheduled to premiere in October 2026.
This update was officially shared on March 29, 2026, following a stage presentation at the AnimeJapan 2026 event.
The upcoming broadcast will air in Japan on the Nippon TV network during the Friday Anime Night programming block.
New cast members joining the production include Nobuhiko Okamoto as the voice of Hagure Nekosaki and Kent Ito as the voice of Yu Innami.
Director Ato Nonaka is leading the project at Studio Hibari with assistance from Hiroyuki Hashimoto.
Yukie Sugawara is managing the series composition and scripts while Ryoko Amisaki serves as the character designer.
The musical score for the series is composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO and Scott MacDonald oversees the art direction.
Yura Urushibara created the original manga which is currently serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine.
Yen Press handles the English publication of the manga under the title Tougen Anki Legend of the Cursed Blood.
The story follows Shiki Ichinose, a teenager who discovers his heritage as an Oni after an attack by the Momotaro Agency.
Crunchyroll provides international streaming for the series, which depicts a modern war between the descendants of the Oni and Momotaro.
