Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! Anime Reveals Creditless Opening Video

An official stage event at AnimeJapan has unveiled the opening sequence for the upcoming anime adaptation of Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! on March 30, 2026.
The opening sequence features the song Shunpatsuteki ni Koi Shiyo, a collaborative track performed by Yasuyuki Okamura and Kento Nakajima.
The series is scheduled to premiere on April 1, 2026, with Crunchyroll confirmed to provide a simulcast for international audiences.

Production staff revealed that the ending sequence for the series will be unique to each episode, featuring different classic songs from the Showa and Heisei eras paired with original animation.
The voice cast features Chiaki Kobayashi as the protagonist Okuto Nakamura and Yuki Sakakihara as his classmate Aiki Hirose.

Supporting cast members include Takuya Eguchi as Sou Otogiri, Fairouz Ai as Hifumi Kawamura, and Yukihiro Nozuyama as Kota Takeuchi.
The ensemble also includes Atsushi Tamaru as Ryo Mukai, Makoto Koichi as Yuka Hamaoka, Yume Maihara as Masako Okuda, and Tsubasa Sasa as Tsukasa Omori.
Director Aoi Umeki, who previously worked on Pop Team Epic, is leading the project at studio Drive while also providing character designs.

The creative team includes Naoki Yoshibe as assistant director, Yasuko Aoki handling series composition, and Ayana Tsujita composing the music.
The anime is based on the original manga created by Syundei, which is published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
The story follows Nakamura, a shy student who falls in love with his classmate Hirose and must overcome his social awkwardness to make a connection.
