Tokyo’s new BEYBLADE BAR offers battling, food and exclusive merch

A new concept bar, “BEYBLADE BAR TOKYO,” is set to open, offering a space where fans can enjoy food, drinks, and intense battles with the “BEYBLADE X” sports toys.
The new establishment, which is a permanent venue as opposed to previous temporary events held under the same name, is a themed bar designed to immerse visitors in the world of the popular Takara Tomy toy franchise.

A key feature of the bar is the “Beyblade Free Battle Area.”

For the price of admission, visitors gain access to four standard battle stadiums and one special “BEYBLADE XR STADIUM,” which uses augmented reality technology to add flashy visual effects to the battles.
Rental Beyblades and launchers are available, so guests can play even if they do not bring their own customized tops.

The bar will also serve a menu of collaboration food and drinks.
The drinks are inspired by the different generations of the franchise, such as Bakuten Shoot Beyblade and Metal Fight Beyblade.

The food menu features dishes themed after specific, famous Beyblades, like a “Dragoon Storm Omurice Stew” and a “Storm Pegasus Blue Peperoncino.”

A merchandise corner will offer a wide range of exclusive and advance-sale items.
This includes standard goods like acrylic stands, keychains, and T-shirts, as well as special, limited-edition Beyblades that are not available at general retail.

One of the highlight items is the “Wizard Arc R4-55LO Metal Coat: Black,” which is an advance sale of a rare Beyblade that will later only be available as a prize through the official smartphone app.

The bar will also feature a variety of exhibits for fans.
These include a display of the entire “BEYBLADE X” product line, a gallery of original, signed artwork from the franchise’s various manga artists, and a showcase of production materials from the anime series.

The “BEYBLADE BAR TOKYO” is located on the 4th floor of the mosia building in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, and it is scheduled to have its grand opening this Saturday, the 9th of August.
Reservations are recommended and can be placed via the official booking website, with admission priced at ¥770 per person.
