Tidus and Yuna Inspire Final Fantasy X’s Second Wave of 25th Anniversary Goods

Square Enix has revealed a second wave of anniversary merchandise to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the hit role-playing game Final Fantasy X.

The new additions to the ever-expanding anniversary goods collection feature functional everyday accessories inspired by the main protagonist Tidus and the central heroine Yuna.

Final Fantasy X originally launched on July 19, 2001, and the story follows a star blitzball player named Tidus who is magically transported to the world of Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed.

He soon joins forces with a young summoner named Yuna and her loyal guardians, including Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, Auron, and Rikku, on a journey to defeat a colossal threat known as Sin.

To commemorate the game’s legacy, original character designer Tetsuya Nomura recently created a special 25th-anniversary logo that decorates much of the commemorative merchandise.

This latest wave of goods follows a massive lineup of previously announced products, such as the upcoming electronic arrangement album FINAL FANTASY X – House Grooves and a comprehensive 25th anniversary visual art book.

The newest additions focus on functional fashion accessories inspired by the central characters and iconography of the game:
