The adaptation features Kunihiko Okada as the series composition writer and Keiichi Tsuboyama as the character designer.

Four additional cast members have been joined to the project, including Taito Ban as Klaus, Miku Ito as Senai, Haruka Shiraishi as Aihan, and Jun Fukuyama as Eldan.
These actors join the previously announced leads, Kenichiro Matsuda, who voices the protagonist Dias, and Shion Wakayama, who portrays the horned girl Alna.

As Dias struggles to cultivate his new territory, he encounters a mysterious girl named Alna who helps him navigate the challenges of the frontier.

The original light novel series launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2018 before Earth Star Entertainment began publishing print volumes in October 2018.
J-Novel Club currently handles the English distribution for both the light novel series and its manga adaptation by illustrator Yumbo.
