The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Confirms Spring 2027 Release

Developer Owlcat Games has officially announced that The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, a story-driven action RPG, is scheduled to launch in spring 2027.
The upcoming title will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, and it will also join the Game Pass library at launch.
A closed beta test is set to begin on April 22, 2026, and will remain active until the full release in spring 2027.
Access to this beta period is granted to players who purchase either the Miller’s Pack or the Collector’s Edition Founder’s Packs through the official website.
Set within the established universe of the books and television series, the game follows a Pinkwater Security mercenary who survives the catastrophic events on Eros.
Players will be tasked with assembling a team to combat the Protogen corporation and their dangerous experiments through dynamic third-person combat and player-driven choices.
The beta phase allows participants to explore a Pinkwater Security space station and interact with various characters to test dialogue options and narrative paths.
In addition to exploration, the beta will provide a first look at the game’s combat and upgrade mechanics once the antagonists responsible for the Eros incident arrive.
Owlcat Games intends to use the feedback gathered during the beta to refine the final experience before it hits shelves in spring 2027.
While the beta is playable on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5, the developers recommend using the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 for the best console performance during this work-in-progress period.
