The Apothecary Diaries announces new ice cream store collab

The anime series “The Apothecary Diaries” is launching a special collaboration with a popular ice cream speciality store.
The “The Apothecary Diaries x Roll Ice Cream Factory” collaboration will feature ice cream flavors and drinks inspired by characters such as Maomao, Jinshi, Xiaolan, Gaoshun, and Consort Gyokuyou.
The Apothecary Diaries follows Maomao, a young apothecary working in the imperial court’s rear palace, as she unravels various mysteries using her extensive knowledge of medicine and poisons.
The series is no stranger to collaborations, with Universal Studios Japan set to host a number of events based around the series starting in July 2025.

This collaboration aims to bring the world of The Apothecary Diaries to life through unique desserts and exclusive merchandise.

Customers who purchase any collaboration menu item will receive a special ticket that can be exchanged for one of two types of limited-edition original novelty item, a coaster or postcard.

These items feature newly drawn illustrations of Maomao and Jinshi holding ice cream cups.

In addition to the themed food and drink, the collaboration will also offer original merchandise exclusive to Roll Ice Cream Factory.

These goods will feature both the newly drawn illustrations and chibi-style artwork of the characters.
Fans can look forward to collecting items that depict their favorite characters from The Apothecary Diaries in unique, collaboration-specific designs.
The event will run from June 2nd to June 30th, 2025, at six Roll Ice Cream Factory locations across Japan, including Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Harajuku, Tennoji, Fukuoka, and Sapporo.
The following stores will all offer the collaboration menu:
