STREET FIGHTER 6’s Luke to get his own manga series

A new Street Fighter manga series, based on the popular character Luke, is set to be released this June.
Shogakukan, a major Japanese publishing house, will launch the new manga series, titled “STREETFIGHTER LUKE RISING,” on its free online manga platform “Weekly Corocoro Comic”.

The manga will be based on Capcom’s popular fighting game Street Fighter 6, the latest installment in Capcom’s long-running fighting game franchise, which has garnered a strong following since its launch.
The game features a large cast of characters, each with unique fighting styles and backstories.

This new collaboration with Corocoro Comic commemorates the second anniversary of Street Fighter 6’s release.
The manga will be penned by artist Yoshio Mokomoko Maru Masao, known for their work on the manga Gaming Ojousama.

The series was announced via Corocoro Comic’s official social media account, revealing illustrations that indicate the manga will follow Luke’s adventures alongside some of the series most popular characters.
“STREETFIGHTER LUKE RISING” is expected to further explore the world and characters of Street Fighter 6 through a fun and often comedic lens, presented in the style familiar to Corocoro Comic readers.
Further information regarding the specific launch date of the new Luke-centric manga series is expected to be announced shortly.
