Stage Musical Adaptation of The Promised Neverland Announced for Winter 2026

A stage musical adaptation of the popular manga series The Promised Neverland has been officially announced for a production run in winter 2026.

The news was shared on April 6, 2026, through a newly launched official website and a dedicated account on the social media platform X.

Production for the musical coincides with the 10th anniversary of the manga’s original serialization start date.

The production team is currently seeking child actors to fill the lead roles of Emma, Norman, and Ray, with audition entries now open to the public.

The Promised Neverland 1

Originally created by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu, the manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from August 2016 until June 2020 and spans 20 collected volumes.

The series previously inspired a two-season anime adaptation produced by studio CloverWorks and directed by Mamoru Kanbe.

The Promised Neverland 2

The story follows 38 orphaned children living at Gracefield House who discover a dark secret about their seemingly happy home and their caretaker.
