Dragon Ball Z’s New Official Fitness Collection Unites Two of Its Most Iconic Villains
Image by Charlotte DavisDragon Ball Z is turning some of its most recognizable villains and items into a new collection of fully functional fitness equipment aimed at fans who want to keep fit whilst representing their favorite anime series.
The second officially licensed collection from BYZOOM FITNESS focuses heavily on Frieza and Majin Buu, while also transforming Capsule Corp technology and the Dragon Balls themselves into workout and recovery equipment.
BYZOOM’s first Dragon Ball Z collection focused on Goku and Vegeta, using the two Saiyans as inspiration for adjustable dumbbells, exercise mats, and other home fitness equipment.
Volume 2 shifts attention toward the villains, with its two largest releases incorporating character references directly into equipment that can still be used as part of a normal strength-training setup.
The “Dragon Ball Z 22.6KG Adjustable Kettlebell (Frieza),” priced at NT$6,980 (approx. $220 USD / £163 GBP), can be adjusted between five different weights without requiring separate kettlebells.
Its selectable settings cover 4.5 kg, 9 kg, 13.6 kg, 18.1 kg and the full 22.6 kg, effectively giving users five different kettlebell weights within a single piece of equipment.
Frieza’s familiar white and purple colors cover the exterior, while the weight markings reference the lines of his face, and additional artwork of both Frieza and his spaceship appears across the sides.
The design also uses an ergonomic curved exterior and a patented locking structure, with the physical size of the kettlebell changing as different weight settings are selected.
The “Dragon Ball Z 10KG Adjustable Dumbbell (Majin Buu),” priced at NT$4,480 (approx. $141 USD / £104 GBP), follows the same adjustable concept with five settings covering 2 kg, 4 kg, 6 kg, 8 kg and 10 kg.
Its pink, yellow and black exterior takes its colors directly from Majin Buu, with the familiar “M” emblem incorporated into the side of the dumbbell.
One of the better character details appears on the weight selector itself, which has been designed to resemble Buu’s green tongue while still functioning as the pin used to change between the five available weights.
The length of the dumbbell also changes depending on the selected weight, while its construction includes cast-iron plates and a textured metal handle designed to provide additional grip during training.
The rest of the collection moves away from conventional weights and instead turns several familiar Dragon Ball items into equipment intended for stretching, core training, and post-workout recovery.
The “Dragon Ball Z HoiPoi Capsule No.9 Foam Roller,” priced at NT$1,680 (approx. $53 USD / £39 GBP), recreates one of Capsule Corp’s familiar capsules as a 42 cm EVA massage roller.
Its cylindrical Capsule No. 9 appearance makes particularly good use of the original design, as the shape already closely resembles the foam rollers commonly used for muscle recovery.
The roller uses 50-55D hardness EVA and is intended for releasing muscle tension before or after training, while its surface is designed to remain usable even when exposed to sweat.
The “Dragon Ball Z 75cm Gym Ball (One-Star Dragon Ball),” priced at NT$990 (approx. $31 USD / £23 GBP), takes the concept much more literally by turning the One-Star Dragon Ball into a huge exercise ball.
At 75 cm across, it is intended for core, balance and stretching exercises and comes with a dual-action pump for inflation.
BYZOOM has also created an entire set of “Dragon Ball Z Natural Rubber Massage Balls,” allowing fans to physically collect all seven Dragon Balls while also using them for targeted muscle recovery.
The “One-Star Dragon Ball Natural Rubber Massage Ball” is priced at NT$990 (approx. $31 USD / £23 GBP) and comes with a dedicated collector’s box designed to hold the complete seven-ball collection.
The Two-Star, Three-Star, Four-Star, Five-Star, Six-Star and Seven-Star versions are priced at NT$490 each (approx. $15 USD / £11 GBP), with every ball measuring 6 cm across and made from natural rubber designed for firm pressure against individual muscle areas.
BYZOOM has even turned collecting all seven into part of a separate promotion, with each massage ball containing a different sticker that can be added to a collection card.
Fans who collect all seven stickers can redeem an exclusive 6 mm “Dragon Ball Z Shenron PVC Fitness Mat” at participating stores, effectively making Shenron the reward for successfully gathering the complete set of Dragon Balls.
The same promotion also provides an additional entry into a prize draw, while anyone purchasing either the Capsule No. 9 Foam Roller or One-Star Dragon Ball Gym Ball receives a serial-number card that can be registered for another giveaway.
The sticker collection and associated prize campaigns are scheduled to remain active until January 31, 2027.
The new Dragon Ball Z Vol. 2 fitness products are currently available to order through BYZOOM FITNESS’ global online store, with the company listing shipping as beginning from late August 2026.
BYZOOM’s dedicated US store currently carries the earlier Goku and Vegeta Dragon Ball Z collection but has not yet added the new Frieza and Majin Buu releases at the time of writing.
