Square Enix and DIESEL Unveil Huge New Final Fantasy Collab Collection
Image by James RichardsonFinal Fantasy XIV is getting one of its largest fashion collaborations to date, with a new 27-piece collection including graphic clothing, denim, jewelry and accessories inspired by the world of Eorzea.
Created with Italian fashion brand DIESEL, the new capsule uses everything from the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and Azem’s Crystal to the Mothercrystal and Eorzea’s three Grand Companies across a mixture of character-focused designs and more subtle references to the MMORPG.

Final Fantasy XIV originally launched as an MMORPG in 2010 before being completely rebuilt as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in 2013, beginning the version of the game that has since expanded through multiple major expansions and developed a huge international player base.

The collaboration takes the theme “BRAVE,” connecting Diesel’s focus on self-expression with the idea of Final Fantasy XIV’s Warrior of Light choosing to step forward and begin their own adventure.

That idea extends well beyond simply placing the game’s logo across existing clothing, with washed denim, oversized streetwear and jewelry giving several of Final Fantasy XIV’s most recognizable symbols a style much closer to DIESEL’s normal collections.
Character T-shirts form the largest part of the 27-piece range, with individual designs dedicated to nine members of the Scions alongside shirts based on Azem’s Crystal and the three nations of Eorzea.
T-Shirts
- “Azem’s Crystal T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Y’shtola T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Thancred T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Urianger T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Alphinaud T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Alisaie T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “G’raha Tia T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Estinien T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Tataru T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Krile T-Shirt” – ¥23,100 (approx. $145 USD / £107 GBP)

- “Eorzea Three Nations T-Shirt” – ¥25,300 (approx. $158 USD / £117 GBP)

The character shirts give fans the most direct way to represent individual members of the Scions, while the Azem and Eorzea designs move toward symbols that will be immediately recognizable to longtime players without relying on a large character portrait.
Five additional tops expand those ideas through long-sleeve shirts and hoodies, including designs that use the history of Final Fantasy XIV itself as part of their artwork.
Long-Sleeve Shirts and Hoodies
- “Azem’s Crystal Long-Sleeve T-Shirt” – ¥25,300 (approx. $158 USD / £117 GBP)

- “Scions of the Seventh Dawn Long-Sleeve T-Shirt” – ¥25,300 (approx. $158 USD / £117 GBP)

- “Eorzea Three Nations Long-Sleeve T-Shirt” – ¥27,500 (approx. $172 USD / £127 GBP)

- “Azem’s Crystal Hoodie” – ¥30,800 (approx. $193 USD / £142 GBP)

- “Eorzea Three Nations Hoodie” – ¥35,200 (approx. $220 USD / £163 GBP)

Several of these pieces carry large “LIGHT THE WAY!” graphics alongside Final Fantasy XIV imagery, while the Scions design places the group together on the front and uses a long list of major updates from the game’s history across the back.
DIESEL’s strongest influence becomes much more obvious in the four denim releases, which combine heavily washed finishes and loose proportions with Grand Company emblems and Crystal-inspired details.
Denim
- “Eorzea Three Nations Denim Jacket” – ¥80,300 (approx. $503 USD / £371 GBP)

- “Eorzea Three Nations Denim Jeans” – ¥59,400 (approx. $372 USD / £274 GBP)

- “Crystal Denim Jacket” – ¥132,000 (approx. $826 USD / £610 GBP)

- “Crystal Denim Jeans” – ¥91,300 (approx. $571 USD / £422 GBP)

The Eorzea jacket and jeans use the emblems associated with the Grand Companies of Gridania, Limsa Lominsa and Ul’dah, adapting symbols normally seen throughout the game into embroidered details across faded blue denim.

The Crystal pair takes a more expensive approach to the same idea, with its unusual treatment and lighter blue finish making these the highest-priced individual pieces in the standard collection.
Final Fantasy XIV’s crystals also provide most of the inspiration for the jewelry, with the Mothercrystal appearing across three pieces while another two use removable charms based on Eorzea’s three Grand Companies.
Jewelry and Accessories
- “Mothercrystal Bracelet” – ¥22,550 (approx. $141 USD / £104 GBP)

- “Mothercrystal Necklace” – ¥27,500 (approx. $172 USD / £127 GBP)

- “Mothercrystal Brooch” – ¥19,250 (approx. $120 USD / £89 GBP)

- “Eorzea Three Nations Bracelet with Three Charms” – ¥22,550 (approx. $141 USD / £104 GBP)

- “Eorzea Three Nations Necklace with Three Charms” – ¥27,500 (approx. $172 USD / £127 GBP)

- “Azem’s Crystal iPhone 17 Case” – ¥11,000 (approx. $69 USD / £51 GBP)

- “Azem’s Crystal iPhone 17 Pro Case” – ¥11,000 (approx. $69 USD / £51 GBP)

The Mothercrystal is a natural choice for the jewelry side of the collection given the importance of crystals throughout both Final Fantasy XIV and the wider Final Fantasy series, allowing the reference to work as a smaller accessory rather than a large graphic.
DIESEL and Square Enix are also producing an extremely limited “Scions of the Seventh Dawn Complete Box,” which collects all nine character T-shirts for Y’shtola, Thancred, Urianger, Alphinaud, Alisaie, G’raha Tia, Estinien, Krile and Tataru alongside two original storage containers.

Only 30 numbered sets will be produced, split between 15 medium and 15 large boxes, with each priced at ¥207,900 (approx. $1,301 USD / £961 GBP).
The wider collaboration will also extend beyond clothing through “DIESEL × FINAL FANTASY XIV – KOSUKE KAWAMURA ‘BRAVE’,” an exhibition that will reinterpret imagery from across Final Fantasy XIV through contemporary collage artwork by Kosuke Kawamura.

The exhibition will run at DIESEL ART GALLERY from October 2 through November 8 and will include original works alongside additional limited merchandise and separate Diesel x Final Fantasy XIV x Kosuke Kawamura T-shirts and hoodies that have yet to be fully revealed.
Players have also been able to participate directly through the “Final Fantasy XIV x DIESEL Styling Contest,” which challenges them to create in-game outfits around four elements associated with Diesel: Denim, Utility, Pop and Artisan, with the results scheduled to be announced during Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 in Tokyo on November 1.

The main 27-piece DIESEL x Final Fantasy XIV collection will receive its first release at a pop-up inside Isetan Shinjuku from September 16 through September 22, where selected purchases can also receive a choice of Final Fantasy XIV job icon embroidery while availability lasts.
The limited “Scions of the Seventh Dawn Complete Box” will be sold separately through a lottery on the Mitsukoshi Isetan online store from September 9 through September 13.

A wider release will follow through the official DIESEL online store and DIESEL SHIBUYA from October 2, before additional pop-ups open at Hankyu Umeda in Osaka from October 7 through October 13 and Iwataya in Fukuoka from October 14 through October 20.
