Square Enix’s new Final Fantasy XIV ice tray lets you make all 22 Job Soul Crystals

A new piece of merchandise has been announced for the massively popular online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV, which offers a unique and practical way for fans to celebrate their favorite in-game roles.
The new product is a silicone ice tray designed to create miniature, icy replicas of the game’s iconic “Soul Crystals.”

In the world of Final Fantasy XIV, the Job system is a core part of the gameplay, allowing players to switch between a wide variety of different character classes at will.

These Jobs, which range from the stalwart Paladin to the arcane Black Mage and the nimble Ninja, are unlocked and equipped through special items known as Soul Crystals, which are said to contain the memories and skills of past masters of the art.

This new ice tray is a comprehensive collection, featuring a detailed mold for the icon of all 22 of the game’s currently available combat Jobs.
This allows players to enjoy a drink cooled by the crystal of their “main Job,” or to create a full assortment representing the game’s diverse lineup of Tanks, Healers, and DPS roles.

The tray allows fans to craft icy versions of the Soul Crystals for every Job, from the classic Warrior and White Mage of “A Realm Reborn” to the more recent additions of the Pictomancer and Viper from the “Dawntrail” expansion.

The new item offers a fun and functional way for the game’s millions of dedicated players to incorporate their passion for the world of Eorzea into their daily lives.

It is a perfect and subtle tribute to the game’s central theme of becoming a versatile and powerful Warrior of Light.
The “FINAL FANTASY XIV Ice Tray <Soul Crystal> 22 Job ver.” is priced at ¥3,300 (approx. $22 USD/£16.5 GBP).

It will also be available on the US Square Enix store, priced at $34.99 USD.
Pre-orders for the new ice tray began on Monday, the 25th of August, at various retailers, including the official Square Enix e-STORE and other hobby goods retailers.
It is scheduled to be released on Saturday, the 20th of December, 2025.
