Bandai Adds Popular GQuuuuuuX Mobile Suit to the METAL ROBOT Spirits Line

Bandai has officially opened pre-orders for a new METAL ROBOT Spirits figure of the Xavier Custom Gyan (Hakuji Equipped) from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX captured global attention for its bold departure from franchise norms as it was a historic first-time collaboration between the legendary Studio Khara (Evangelion) and Sunrise.

The series blended the action of classic Gundam with the sensibilities of the Evangelion creative team.

The story follows high schooler Amate Yuzuriha as she is thrust into the world of “Clan Battles”, illegal mobile suit duels.

Piloted by the charismatic Xavier Olivette, this “white knight” mobile suit became a breakout favorite during the series’ initial run.

The new METAL ROBOT Spirits figure faithfully recreates the Xavier Custom Gyan and its “High Grade Porcelain” texture.

The body is finished in a high-quality, matte white paint, accented by metallic applications and eye-catching gold printed details.

As with all figures in the line, it features plated die-cast joints, providing both a realistic metallic weight and the durability required to support its massive armaments.

The centerpiece of this release is undoubtedly the Hakuji, a large composite weapon that doubles as a high-output thruster.

Measuring approximately 23cm in length, the spear is actually longer than the mobile suit itself, creating an imposing silhouette on any display shelf.

It features three railgun muzzles and six movable thruster nozzles at the base.

The figure also includes a faithful recreation of the iconic Gyan shield with a functional missile hatch deployment gimmick as well as beam sabers stored in the thighs with removable hilts and effect parts.

The figure is priced at 28,600 yen (tax included, approx. $187 USD/£137 GBP) and is expected to be released in July 2026.

Pre-orders are currently being accepted at the Tamashii Web Shop on Premium Bandai until the production limit is reached.
