Sanrio’s Cardcaptor Sakura Collab Returns with Adorable New Gashapon Collection
Image by James RichardsonCardcaptor Sakura and Sanrio are teaming up once again, this time for an adorable new Gashapon charm collection.
The “Cardcaptor Sakura x Sanrio Characters Collaboration Charm” series features Sakura Kinomoto, Kero-chan, Hello Kitty and Kerokerokeroppi across a lineup of approximately 5 cm PVC mascots fitted with ball chains.
This latest collaborative release follows another Cardcaptor Sakura x Sanrio collection launched in July 2026, which featured everyday accessories across two different design concepts, dressing Sanrio characters in costumes inspired by Sakura’s magical outfits.
The new Gashapon collection includes Sakura wearing outfits inspired by Hello Kitty and Kerokerokeroppi alongside separate charms for Kero-chan and the two Sanrio characters themselves.

The “Cardcaptor Sakura x Sanrio Characters Collaboration Charm” series is now available to order through Bandai’s Japanese Gashapon Online service.
Each draw costs ¥400 (approx. $3 USD / £2 GBP), with online orders remaining available until 11:59 PM JST on September 27 or until the prepared allocation sells out.
Each of the five designs has an equal 20% listed draw rate through Gashapon Online, and with every purchase selected at random it is possible to receive duplicate charms when making multiple purchases.
Orders are scheduled to ship around late December 2026, although Bandai notes that the charms may appear in physical Gashapon machines across Japan before online orders are delivered.
Any international release for the collection is likely to be confirmed shortly after the initial Japanese release, with early 2027 the soonest that overseas fans will potentially be able to find them in official Gashapon locations or with third party importers.
