Sanrio reveals huge new Hapidanbui summer apparel and merch collection

Sanrio is continuing to announce their summer themed ranges, and this time it’s the turn of Hapidanbui.

A new line of summer apparel and accessories, featuring a special collaboration between popular illustrator Yuji Nishimura and Sanrio’s character unit Hapidanbui, will be released this June.

This follows the release of new summer themed apparel and merchandise ranges for Hello Kitty.

Yuji Nishimura, who celebrates his 10th anniversary as an illustrator in 2025, is known for his distinctive, slightly mischievous yet endearing art style, often depicting animals and original characters.

Hapidanbui is a Sanrio character group formed in 2020, bringing together six male Sanrio characters from the 1980s: Pochacco, Tuxedosam, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, Hangyodon, and Ahiru no Pekkle.

This collaboration merges Nishimura Yuji’s unique artistic touch with the established appeal of these classic Sanrio characters, offering fans new ways to engage with both brands.

The collaboration includes a range of ten apparel items designed for summer, alongside various accessories like hair items and keychains.
