Sanrio launches two new limited-edition premium haircare products
Sanrio has released two limited-edition hair care lines with popular Japanese hair care brands ‘&honey’ and ‘&PAIR’, each featuring fan-favorite Sanrio characters and unique seasonal fragrances.
Sanrio regularly partners with brands to bring fans beauty and styling products, such as the recently announced Sanrio capsule toy cosmetics range by cosmetics brand Creer Beaute.
Both ‘&honey’ and ‘&PAIR’ are well-known in the Japanese beauty market for their focus on natural ingredients and innovative hair care solutions, making them a holy grail product not only in Japan but across the globe as the brand’s popularity grows.
This collaboration with Sanrio adds a touch of cuteness to an iconic haircare line offering charming and collectible packaging.
‘&honey’ previously partnered with Sanrio to bring fans a Cinnamoroll collab in 2024, as well as a Kuromi collab in early 2025.

&honey x Pompompurin & Cinnamoroll: A Fresh Summer Scent
The &honey line, known for its focus on moisture and repair, will feature limited edition packaging with Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll.
This Melty shampoo and treatment are created specially for those with wavy and curly hair, with key ingredients to target dryness and overall hair health and the set comes with a comb to help the effectiveness of the treatment.
The scent is designed to invoke a sense of the freshness of early summer with a delightful mimosa and daisy fragrance.
The set includes:
- &honey Melty Moist Repair Shampoo (440mL)
- &honey Melty Moist Repair Hair Treatment (445g)
- A special Hair Treatment Comb (1 piece)
The packaging features a vibrant bi-color design that perfectly reflects the cheerful images of Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll and will retail for 3,080 yen (tax included).
&PAIR x My Melody & Kuromi: Elegant Floral Fragrance
The &PAIR line, recognized for its control and repair benefits, will feature limited edition packaging with My Melody and Kuromi.
This collection is designed to evoke a gorgeous and elegant aesthetic, infused with a lavender and peony fragrance that offers a rich, floral scent.
The limited set comes with a specially designed quick-drying brush to distribute heat of the hair dryer evenly when styling and cut down on drying time.
The set includes:
- &PAIR Control Repair Two-in-One Shampoo (450mL)
- &PAIR Control Repair Two-in-One Hair Treatment (450g)
- A convenient Quick-drying Brush (1 piece)
This set will be priced at 3,190 yen and will feature an eye-catching bi-color packaging that visually represents the distinct personalities of My Melody and Kuromi.
The new collaboration offer fans a unique opportunity to combine their love for Sanrio characters with their daily hair care routine, making everyday moments a little more special.
Both sets are due to launch on June 25th, 2025 and will be will be available at drugstores and variety shops across Japan, however fans will need to be quick as the products will be available in limited quantities.
