Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Dear Friend Reveals Nodoka Character Visual for Upcoming Movie Release

The upcoming anime film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend is scheduled to arrive in Japanese theaters on October 16, 2024.
To build anticipation for the release, a new character visual featuring idol Nodoka Toyohama was recently unveiled to the public.

This latest entry in the franchise follows the events of the light novel by Hajime Kamoshida, which was published in October 2024.
The production features a returning creative team at studio CloverWorks, including director Soichi Masui and scriptwriter Masahiro Yokotani.
Satomi Tamura provides the character designs while the musical group fox capture plan handles the score.

The story centers on Sakuta Azusagawa as he navigates a reality where the impossible dreams of others are manifesting in the real world.
Sakuta must find the mysterious internet singer Toko Kirishima to prevent reality from being permanently rewritten.

This film marks a significant milestone in the series, following previous theatrical releases like Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid from 2023.
Fans can currently stream the preceding television series and movies on platforms such as Crunchyroll to catch up before the October 16, 2024 premiere.
